This module will cover both supervised and unsupervised learning methods: namely the classification and clustering of different biological datasets, including images.

The L2D AI module has you covered with a comprehensive deep dive into the background and practical application of deep learning in Biology. This module explores three primary AI approaches: Multi-Layer Perceptrons (MLPs), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), and Generative AI including Large Language Models. You'll gain hands-on experience implementing these tools using PyTorch whilst learning techniques for interpreting model outputs to gain meaningful insights into biological data patterns.
